SUMMER PROGRAMS    
    During the summer months (starting June 11th), we will have special summer half-day or full-day programs. Our summer session is similar to our regular school session in terms of the hours that we keep, but in the summer we open up several extra topics--but we still do enough 'core subjects' to keep everyone sharp. The following is a brief synopsis. Call us for more detailed info.  
         
   

CULTURAL SUBJECTS

We will be learning about some of the people and cultures of the ancestors of our students from all around the world. We will also be participating in cultural events, and we will have visitors to our school to give demonstrations. (In the past these demonstrations have included making African masks, learning Hawaiian dances, and more).

SWIMMING, GYMNASTICS, ART & MUSIC

We’re planning several optional enrichment activities (at additional costs).
Daily swimming lessons ($38 for every two week session).
Weekly gymnastics classes ($10/week).
Art classes Wednesdays by Tanya Platt ($10/week).
Private Piano lessons will be taught on Wednesday by Tanya Platt ($10/Week).
We will also have a Music Specialist joining us this summer, teaching dance, rhythm, songs and musical movement ($60/Summer).

FIELD TRIPS

We’re planning field trips to places such as: Clark Planetarium, The Tree House Museum, The Children’s Theater of Salt Lake, The Living Planet Aquarium, the Hill Air Force Base Museum and Tracy Aviary.

LANGUAGE ARTS & MATH

To ensure continued success in the coming year, we will continue lessons in core academic subjects.

ADVANCED SUBJECTS & SPECIAL TEACHERS

Coralee from "The Puppet Players will entertain the children with her puppets and talent. Science experiments and bottle rockets along with other fun projects will be taught by our science specialist.
